Executive leader with 7+ years of experience building and transforming businesses. Deeksha is passionate about utilising technology in the healthcare ecosystem to improve accessibility, affordability and quality of care. As a part of the leadership development program of The Tata Group of companies in India I have worked across various industries and functions; utilised my diverse exposure to orchestrate the digital transformation of hospitals across patient engagement, clinical quality of care, and operational activities to make them future-ready. Outside of work I am an avid Indian classical dancer and a public speaker passionate about motivating and mentoring!

Kanupriya Raman

Ishwar Prasad graduated from IIT Delhi with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining Wharton, he worked at A91 Partners for two years, a growth equity fund founded by three former Managing Directors of Sequoia Capital, where he focused on technology investments. He also worked at SeaLink Capital, a mid-market private equity firm based out of Mumbai. Ishwar started out as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company where he served clients in a wide range of industries across India and US. Born in Coimbatore, Ishwar is passionate about Tennis and Indian Classical music

Kumar Sambhava

Born in Faridabad, India, Shuchi pursued her undergraduate degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. After graduating, she worked in consulting for 3 years at Bain & Company, where she worked across projects in technology, healthcare, and automotive sectors. She then joined an EdTech startup, WhiteHat Junior, focused on teaching kids coding, math and music for a year where she led customer experience enhancement projects. At Wharton, she is co-president for the Music Club and India Club, and will be pursuing her internship at Adobe in the retention strategy team.

Pranav Damani

Nayan is pursuing a major in Operations and Finance at Wharton. He is currently doing his summer internship with Warburg Pincus in Mumbai, a global growth focused private-equity firm. Previously, he has worked with Norwest Venture Partners, a global growth venture capital firm, where he led their consumer tech investments in India. He has also worked with Matrix Partners, a leading early stage venture capital firm in India and closely tracked mobility, fintech and D2C brand spaces. Nayan started his career at Kearney, a global consulting firm, and worked on client engagements across 3 continents and 10+ countries. Hailing from Jaipur in India, Nayan did his undergraduate in Civil Engineering from IIT-Bombay.

Shreeya Bhutani

Speakers and Start-up Challenge

Born in New Delhi, India, Rhea pursued her undergraduate degree from Lady Shri Ram college in Delhi University. After graduating, she worked in consulting for 3 years covering education and technology projects in 15+ emerging markets. She then joined the United Nations Development Programme where she helped develop the SDG Investor Map for India and drive institutional investments towards the Indian start-up ecosystem. Subsequently, she joined BharatPe - a late stage FinTech start-up providing financial services to small merchants in India. At Wharton, Rhea is majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation will be pursuing a summer internship with Warburg Pincus in India.

Devika Mittal

Co-Chair, Wharton India Startup Challenge

Devika Mittal is a Forte Fellow, and a Finance and Entrepreneurship & Innovation double major at Wharton. Prior to Wharton, she was a Manager in the Global Corporate Strategy and Development team at Microsoft, where she worked on projects ranging from emerging markets investments and incubations at Microsoft to blockchain and gaming. During the summer, she worked at a pre-seed video conferencing app as well as for Sterlite Power (part of the Vedanta Group). She has a BA in Strategy, Politics, and Policy from Yale.

Anooj Vikam

Co-Chair, Wharton India Startup Challenge

Anooj Vikam is a Finance major at Wharton. Prior to Wharton, he was an Associate at Lighthouse Private Equity Fund, where he worked on investments ranging from early stage to mature public market transactions. He interned at Brandes Investment Partners, a USD 25bn deep value fund over the summer. He is a rank holding Chartered Accountant and a CFA.

Gaurav Lulu

Gaurav Lulu is a Finance and Operations double major at Wharton. Prior to Wharton, he worked as Investment Associate with Baring Private Equity Asia ($20bn buyout focused fund), where he evaluated and executed control investments in financials, technology, and services sectors. Before Baring, Gaurav was an investment banking analyst with Rothschild in Singapore, where he advised infrastructure clients in Southeast Asia on M&A and fundraising. Gaurav holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay. He interned with CPPIB Direct Private Equity in London and with Amansa Capital in Singapore this summer.

Divya Kamerkar

Co-Chair, Speakers & Marketing

Divya Kamerkar is an Entrepreneurship major at Wharton. She is also a Forté fellow and recipient of the Judith and William P Bollinger Fellowship. Currently, Divya is working to launch her reproductive health start-up called Pinky Promise. Prior to Wharton, Divya worked at The Bridgespan Group, where she helped advise several governments and large nonprofits across India and the MENA region on their healthcare and early childhood strategies. She also worked for the Delhi Government as a Senior Consultant where she was tasked with implementing reforms to make Delhi safer for women. Divya holds a B.S from Yale University and is also a Yale Global Health Fellow.

Rishabh Jain

Co-Chair, Speakers, Operations & Finance

Rishabh Jain is an Entrepreneurship and Operations, Information & Decisions double major at Wharton. Before Wharton, he worked at Bharti Airtel, participating in their flagship rotational leadership program before working closely with senior management as part of Group Treasury on liquidity and mobile money across India and Africa. Prior to that he has worked at Gamezop and Ernst & Young. He's a Chartered Accountant and holds a B. Com (Hons.) degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
